This fisherman's dreamland is located 50 wilderness miles from Havre St. Pierre and consists of three separate main lakes (Watshishou, Large Holt, Small Holt) interlocked with beautiful stretches of fast water, intermittently spaced rapids and pools: the ideal habitat for Brook Trout, Artic Char, and landlocked "smelt" which keeps our Landlocked Salmon healthy. The "landlocks" are likely to be lurkers, and it takes only one or two of these silvery battlers to turn a fishing trip into a brag-worthy adventure. With exclusive rights to 70 km² of lakes and rivers, Lac Holt Outfitters offers you the opportunity to fish in big lakes from a boat, to wade into a deep pool below a beautiful rapid, or to float-tube on one of our smaller waters. We are among the first outfitters in Quebec to designate certain parts of our lakes and rivers fly-fishing only and catch-and-release only.
