The Holt Lake Fishing Lodge is located in the Lower North Shore region of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, northeast of Havre-Saint-Pierre.
From downtown Montreal, it's a 1,125 km drive, or 860 km from Quebec City. Taking Route 138 will take you to La Base du Lac des Plaines, near Havre-Saint-Pierre. From there, a 35-minute seaplane flight over pristine wilderness will take you directly to our inn.
The only way to reach Lake Holt Fishing Lodge is by plane, and the flight itself is an unforgettable experience!
Your hosts, Luc and Daniel, will be delighted to welcome you to our beautiful beach, just across the road from your designated chalet.

At the heart of our lodge is the Watshishou River, home to the freshwater salmon (Ouananiche). Three interconnected lakes—Watshishou, Big Holt, and Little Holt—are linked by stunning whitewater features, rapids, waterfalls, and deep pools, creating ideal feeding grounds for salmon and trout.
Whether you prefer trolling or casting from a boat on the big lakes, or wading in deep pools below the rapids for the ultimate fly fishing experience, we offer something for every angler.
